Former Port Corpus Christi Commission Secretary, Barbara A. Canales, is a graduate of Corpus Christi’s W.B. Ray High School, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston. Judge Canales is a distinguished professional and active member of the South Texas community and a former practicing attorney. In addition to numerous past appointments, current boards and committees which Barbara A.
