Russia continues to use energy as a weapon against European consumers by cutting the supply and manipulating the markets. As a result, Europe is facing the worst energy crisis in its history, with gas supply shock caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. China’s effort to expand its growing influence represents one of the largest threats to the United States. China poses increasing security threats to the U.S and our allies on energy markets, energy technologies, energy infrastructure as well as economic and national security threats. Successive upheavals caused by pandemic, such as high inflation and supply chain disruptions exacerbate the problem. Finally, aggressive energy policies for radical reduction of emissions by drastically reducing the supply of dense forms of energy such as fossil fuels, have caused record-high energy prices, volatility and uncertainty in the energy markets.

During our Forum we aim to provide market intelligence on geopolitical risks and threats as well as new opportunities for U.S. energy investments, new technologies, innovative energy initiatives and policies in the United States that will help ensure energy security and advance a cleaner energy production and transportation.
