Has been working in the European Commission since 2008, dealing with energy markets. Since 2014 works in DG Energy on security of supply in gas and electricity. Advises director for Internal Energy Market, Mr Klaus-Dieter Borchardt, on gas related issues with Russia and Ukraine. Also responsible for internal market issues in Poland. Currently works on the revision of the Regulation on security of gas supplies and Risk Preparedness in electricity. From 2008 to 2014 worked in DG Competition on high-profile antitrust cases in the energy sector (i.e. investigation into Gazprom's practices in Central and Eastern Europe).

Holds an MSc in engineering from Technical University of Lodz, a Master degree in International Economics from Warsaw School of Economics and an MA from College of Europe in Bruges.
