4th Houston Oil & Gas Forum 2022

The IN-PERSON 4th Houston Oil & Gas Forum 2022 is organized by U.S. Energy Stream, on February 23 & 24, 2022 at the Petroleum Club of Houston, Texas. The Forum is an annual market intelligence platform that brings together powerful U.S. Congressmen, Senators, government leaders, C-level energy executives, investors and experts.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the American oil and gas industry has demonstrated unwavering resilience. While 2020 has been a tremendously challenging year, the U.S. oil and gas industry has resiliently increased its productivity to record levels, lowered its costs and expanded critical infrastructure. The U.S. celebrated a milestone in September 2019, becoming a net exporter of petroleum and total energy for the first time in more than 60 years. During the 2020 COVID-19 recession, the U.S. managed to sustain its net exporter status in most months of the year and appears on track to do so on an annual basis for the first time since the 1950s. Record productivity has enabled abundant domestic oil and natural gas supplies, amped-up U.S. energy exports and boosted our energy security by displacing foreign energy imports.

As we emerge from the pandemic, energy demand is likely to recover alongside the domestic economy, and energy-related activity will be indispensable to our broader economic recovery and long-term growth, according to the Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) short-term energy outlook.

President Joe Biden’s Plan for Climate Change and Environmental Justice is likely to set new rules for the oil and gas industry. The American oil and gas industry over the last years has successfully tackled the challenge of climate change by delivering affordable and reliable energy while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The cooperation between the oil and gas industry and the new administration is of utmost importance, as energy impacts every American.

Our goal is to foster strong economic growth, create new energy jobs, and empower America’s oil and gas industry to create technological innovation, advance modern energy infrastructure and support access to natural gas and oil resources — both on federal and private lands — which will be critical to rebuilding our economy and maintaining America’s status as a global energy leader. True to our mission we will bring the highest intelligence to empower business and government leaders to thrive.

The meeting is an in-person meeting for 40 C-level participants. We are committed to protecting the health and safety of our clients. We comply with the CDC directives for health and safety against COVID-19. The Forum is a private, off-the record, closed-door, non-attribution, and non-dissemination meeting, closed to members of the press.
