ALEXANDER C. PAPANDREOU is the Managing Counsel – ITC, D&C, SCM, Chevron Upstream (a Chevron U.S.A. Inc.) based in Houston, Texas.  In his role, he is responsible for managing the Chevron Corporate Procurement/Supply Chain Management (P/SCM), Global Drilling & Completions (D&C), and Information Technology Company (ITC) legal teams, as well as supporting the Complex Process Facilities (CPF) group.  In addition to serving as a member of the business leadership teams of the organizations he supports, Mr. Papandreou’s accountabilities include supervision of commercial negotiations and supporting project development, execution, and operation domestically and internationally; strategic guidance of dispute resolution (both litigation and arbitration disputes); advice to several corporate functions; and leadership of global projects to deliver industry-leading results, including best-in-class incident response and investigation practices, and superior talent management, development, and planning programs.  Mr. Papandreou received his LL.B. from the University of Athens School of Law in Athens, Greece and his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School in Notre Dame, Indiana.  He also holds a Master’s degree in international trade and business transactions and a certificate in advanced commercial arbitration (domestic and international) from the University of Houston Law Center.  Prior to joining Chevron, Mr. Papandreou was a partner in private practice in Houston representing vessel owners,oil majors, drilling companies, and dredging contractors in domestic and international commercial litigation and arbitration.
